ABOUT SECRET TIME TRAVEL MEETING
Secret Time Travel Meeting grew out of Shawn Wickens’ long-running fascination with time travel, comedy, impossible questions, and the emotional uses of imagining the future. Before it became a live show, the project began with Time Machine Blueprints, a conceptual book about time travel, speculation, and what our imagined futures reveal about us.
The live version was first developed in New York City under the title Time Machine Blueprints: The Show. Over time, it evolved into Secret Time Travel Meeting: part comedy show, part speculative lecture, part secret society gathering, and part invitation to think wildly and dream loud about tomorrow.
Audience Members are encouraged to show up in costume or even in disguise as a different version of themselves from an alternate timeline (whatever that means to them).
Secret Time Travel Meetings are lightly interactive. If that makes you nervous, try on a disguise!

Shawn Wickens
Shawn Wickens is a comedian, writer, and performer whose work blends stand-up, storytelling, strange ideas, audience interaction, and playful experiments in live performance. He has performed at international Fringe festivals, comedy clubs, museums, bookstores, theaters, and unconventional venues in the U.S. and abroad.
His projects include Secret Time Travel Meeting, Time Machine Blueprints, Stoned Laughs, and other live comedy experiments built around curiosity, absurdity, and hope for tomorrow.
